Sorry in advance since this is going to be very rambly, but I remember back around 2005 - 2007 my dad bought me a program called the Image Terminal by Nexearch. I played with it a bit and made a few images but pretty soon it went offline and I remember my dad was absolutely livid. He tried contacting their customer service every day for a week but they had no interest in giving him his money back.
My memories involving it are fuzzy, it was close to 20 years ago after all, but it was sort of like an AI Image generator that we have today like Craiyon but it was producing images that in hind sight were incredibly advanced. That being said they were still blurry and had wierd artifacts but for the time it was a really impressive software. I specifically remember the company name because my dad and I talked about how wierd it was, and if it was a combination of two or more words.
I remember I put a video of it on youtube back in the day but I can't find it or the account I uploaded it on. I hope one day I can find it again that would be a nice trip down memory lane. But anyways finding information about this software is extremely difficult, I managed to find some old posts on various forums about it as well as a top 10 video on youtube that included it but besides that there's barely any evidence of it existing.
I must have been pretty lucky to have experienced it if it really was this small scale. Hopefully one of you can find something I'm missing, please email me if thats the case.
