ROTH Contribution limits once again increased!

I've been saying for a long time that the ideal way to save for retirement even if your employer offers a 401k plan is the Individual ROTH IRA, and it just got better. Contribution limits for those under 50 just increased to $6,500 a year from the previous $6,000. That's a lot of money you can pay taxes on now, put away and withdraw when you retire, paying no taxes whatsoever on the growth.

I've maxed my roth each year for half a decade at this point and at request I'll let you guys know my strategy, it's boring but it works. I simply invest $250 per paycheck into the account, buy a S&P500 ETF like VOO and let it ride. Investing doesn't have to be complicated and with how well the market has done I can probably retire by 40 if things keep up.

I know times are tough but if you can save a little now, it'll pay off a lot in the future. Just something to think about.
